Slate Connector

The Slate Connector is a CAS-to-SAML connector that integrates the Slate CAS identity provider with Cirrus Proxy.

It allows applicants and prospects to use their Slate username and password to access applications configured through Proxy.

Cirrus Identity connects Slate applicant authentication with your existing identity environment and the applications applicants need before enrollment.

The Slate Connector connects Slate to Cirrus Proxy. Proxy connects to downstream applications and provides the appropriate authentication and attributes using SAML, CAS, or OIDC.

This allows your institution to support applicants and enrolled students through different identity paths while keeping the application experience consistent.
